Jonathon T. Tichy advises closely-held companies, organizations and individuals facing complex legal, regulatory and strategic matters.
His clients have included leaders in energy, consumer goods, transportation, manufacturing, finance, online retail and technology, as well as non-profit organizations, schools, religious organizations and private foundations operating in the United States and internationally.
For several clients, Jonathon serves as outside general counsel, supporting management teams across business-related legal and regulatory matters while coordinating the professional resources needed to protect their broader legal and financial interests.
His practice also includes sensitive individual matters requiring close personal engagement. With a strong civil litigation and appellate background, Jonathon has represented clients before state and federal administrative agencies and courts.
Before founding Envoy Legal, Jonathon led international law, government affairs, litigation and appellate practices at other firms. His earlier experience includes work with White & Case, Baker McKenzie and the U.S. Department of State on a special diplomatic assignment.

Jonathon's international experience has included legal, governmental, diplomatic and institutional work connecting the United States with Europe and other international markets.
Before entering private legal practice, Jonathon worked with the U.S. Department of State as a political and economic officer and analyst at the U.S. Embassy in Prague.
His subsequent legal career has included international business and governmental-relations work as well as experience with global firms White & Case and Baker McKenzie.
